Shehnaaz Gill recently got to meet Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan during Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party in Mumbai.
Their special moment in the gather, in which the two were seen exchanging pleasantries and a hug, went viral on social media.
But during a recent interaction with comedian Tanmay Bhatt, the actress and reality TV star revealed that she did not quite understand the crazy around SRK initially.
Shehnaaz stated that had risen from the rural areas of Punjab, and did not quite see or fathom the love people had for King Khan, during the peak of his career. But she eventually came around, and started admiring him, after watching his movies.

She stated:
“Punjab mein rehti thi, main apni duniya mein rehti thi. Lekin, jab main iss badi si duniya mein aa gayi, maine socha, Shah Rukh Khan se itna pyaar sab karte hain, main kyun nahin karti pyaar? Maine unke pictures dekhi, main fan ho gayi”
Shehnaaz also went on to speak about her fondness for Salman Khan, who’s the host of Bigg Boss – a show that brought the Punjabi actress national fame and popularity. Shehnaaz stated, that she will always refer to the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor as ‘Sir.’
