Earlier in 2020, a gifted young singer named – Esther Hnamte from Mizoram went viral on social media, after her video of singing A.R. Rahman’s ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ was shared across multiple platforms.
The adorable little girl from the North-eastern Indian state was deemed a ‘prodigy’ and became massively popular in her state and also her locality. She also garnered national attention for her viral video.
Her performances are now being shared again on social media, which feature her singing the patriotic tune, which was originally sung by Rahman for his Pop album back in the early 2000’s.
A video of her performance was shared by the official handle of the Vice President of India, and the caption read – “Melodious performance by the little singing sensation from Mizoram, Esther Hnamte.”

Esther is a known face and name in Mizaram now after her viral singing videos. She had in fact received a special appreciation award from the Governor of Mizoram.
