As Ukraine continues to struggle amidst an unprecedented situation of war, post Russia’s attack, the country’s civilians are struggling to not only find a safe place to hide, but to also provide for themselves and their families in these difficult times.
Out of supplies and a roof to hide under, several people are attempting to find an escape from the war-torn country.
In the middle of these struggles, there are several national and international organizations that have come forth to provide help and refuge to civilians.

ISKCON – which has over 54 temples in Ukraine, has also come forward to provide shelter and food to the people in the country.
Radharaman Das, who’s the Vice-President of ISKCON, Kolkata, shared on Twitter:
“When life gives you lemons make lemonade. Our ISKCON devotees in Ukraine are in fact one step ahead. When life throws lemons at them, they make lemonade and share it with others. In these difficult times, our devotees are busy serving others, risking their own lives.”
He further added:
“ISKCON temples all over Ukraine are ready to serve people in need. Our devotees and temples are committed to serving those in distress. Our temple doors are open for service.”
