The trailer for Vivek Agnihotri’s much anticipated and ambitious film ‘The Kashmir Files’ was released on Monday, 21 February and it seems like every bit gruesome and brutally honest that it was promised to be.
The filmmaker, who previously gave audiences the critically acclaimed – The Tashkent Files, has put together acting forces like Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi, to narrate the horrible exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley back in the early 90’s.
The controversial subject, which hasn’t been covered with such transparency and detail, has been documented without any filter – going by the first look and trailer of the film and it is certain to make your jaw drop.
Ahead of the film’s release on 11th March 2022, watch it’s spine-chilling and eye-opening trailer below:
Twitter reactions for the trailer are also astounding, as people can’t help but be driven by the message through the powerful story-telling and acting.
Here are some of the reactions from social media, which sum-up how the story has struck with its target audiences:
1)
Brilliant trailer. Tukde and Azadi gang will definitely intimidate and silence the truth just like they did to Tashkent files. #TheKashmirFiles https://t.co/JREIHrR1lA

The movie will be rejected by "Bollywood Narrative Controller" including celebrated critics and media. No alternative narrative gets accepted in India.
They even tried to ignore/hide Tashkent Files which still became Sleeper Hit without.
The Hypocrites are killing industry.
