One of the last big controversies of this Bigg Boss season was the altercation between contestants – Tejasswi Prakash and Shamita Shetty.
During a task, in which Shamita got on top of Tejasswi’s boyfriend Karan Kundra, to give him a massage – the two women got into a heated exchange of words, as the latter was apparently displeased with Shamita getting handsy with Karan. Even though it was just for the task.
An agitated Tejasswi made a rather ageist remark on Shamita, when the latter repeated the same task with another male contestant – Prateek Sehajpal.
“Chadh gayi aunty ab uspe” (Aunty got on top of him now) – she commented, which drew a lot of flak all the way to the finale of the show.

After the completion of the show, Shamita’s famous sister – actress Shilpa Shetty was asked about her opinion on the altercation and the comment that was passed by Tejasswi.
Here’s what she was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times on the subject:
“Mera yeh maanna hai, jab ek aurat doosri aurat ko neeche dikhane ki koshish kare, woh meri behen ho ya koi aur ho, that’s a sign of weakness aur main uss cheez ko kabhi support nahi karungi”
She further added:
“Aur jis tareeke se uss cheez ko bola gaya, main uske sakht khilaaf hoon. I just think it boils down to manners. Hum aisi cheezein karenge hi nahi. My parents were very, very strict with us,” she said.
