Kangana Ranaut Comments On Karnataka Hijab Controversy: “Don’t Turn India Into A Nightmare Please”

The ongoing Hijab controversy in Karnataka seems to be getting a lot of national and international attention.

Female Muslim students are still protesting to enter the school premises, after the school authorities banned wearing Hijab or Burqa, in compliance with its universal dress code.

Now, actress Kangana Ranaut, has also lent her two cents on the subject.

The bold and bindaas actress, who’s known to fearlessly express her opinions on social and political topics without any filter, took to her social media to urge the protesters to enjoy the freedom that exists in India.

The ‘Dhaakad’ actress drew a comparison with Iraq, daring them to “not” wear a burqa there.

Sharing two contrasting images of a group of women in bikini and another in burqa, here’s what she stated:

“This is Iraq, in less than 50 years it has turned from bikinis to burkha, if u want to show courage show it by not wearing burkha in Afganistan , learn to break free don’t cage yourself, India is a blessing enjoy your freedom, don’t try to turn it also in to a nightmare please”
