It was another major blow for the Indian music industry earlier this week, as iconic film composer and singer Bappi Lahiri passed away at the age of 69, after suffering from a sleep-related breathing disorder.
The legendary singer, who was often regarded as the “king of 80’s Disco” in India, passed away just days after the Indian music industry had suffered the loss of another great legend – Lata Mangeshkar.
Mourning the loss of Bappi Lahiri, his daughter Rema, was seen inconsolable as his mortal remains were brought back to their place from the hospital.
Rema was seen grieving and mourning upon seeing her father’s body.

Soon after his passing, several Bollywood celebrities and musicians, like Kajol, Tanuja, Kumar Sanu, etc, visited Bappi Lahiri’s residence to pay their condolences to the family.
