Pune Woman Saves Whole Bus Full Of People: After Driver Suffers Seizure Midway

A woman’s heroic and prompt act saved the lives of many in a recent incident in Pune.

It was when a passenger bus full of people faced their worst nightmare as their driver suffered a seizure midway, rendering him unable to drive the vehicle any further.

It was then that the woman in question – 40 year old Yogita Satav, came to the rescue and took in-charge of the bus and drove people to safety.

Even though Yogita had never driven a bus earlier, she still promptly took control of the situation

Yogita was traveling in the bus with her female friends and a few kids, who had all gone out in a picnic.

Following the medical emergency, she drove the bus for nearly 10 KM, till they reached Ganegaon Khalsa, where they provided the driver with proper medical assistance.

“Since I knew how to drive a car, I decided to take charge of the bus. The first important task was to get the driver proper medical treatment. So, I drove to a nearby hospital and admitted him there,” Satav was quoted as saying by a recent report in The Indian Express.

The video of her bold and prompt action was also captured by her friends in the bus.
