Kacha Badam: The Viral Video Of Street Vendor’s Singing That Has Become A Famous Remix For Short-Video Creators

Instagram and Facebook shorts have been serving as a great way to popularize and bring fame to tunes, you wouldn’t otherwise hear or come across.

Time and again, we see these short videos using songs that soon go viral and get further used by thousands of other videos, becoming viral in the process.



We saw the same happening with the remix of ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’, and now another common man has found fame through his “street-singing” which has been transformed into a hit remix for short videos.

We’re talking about ‘Kacha Badam’ – a song you may have heard playing in the background of short videos, with a catchy tune and lyric behind it.

 

The man who originally sang the song is actually a peanut seller hailing from West Bengal, the same place that gave birth to the 15-minutes of fame for Ranu Mondal.

The street vendor named – Bhuban Badyakar, attracts his customers by singing the catchy tune cycling barefoot through villages. But ever-since his jingle was recorded by a passerby and uploaded on internet, it has turned him into an international social media sensation.



Several remixes of his jingle have been curated by both Desi and foreign content creators and they are making people dance along.

 

People have also praised Bhuban for his raw talent.

So has internet found it’s new celebrity after the ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ kid?
