Kangana Ranaut has never shied away from expressing her pride in her background and where she comes from.
The bold and outspoken actress recently celebrated the birth anniversary of Hindu religious and spiritual leader and guru – Swami Vivekanand on January 12th.
Taking to her social media, the actress payed homage to the late spiritual icon and much-worshipped figure, while also quoting a saying from him, in which he expressed his pride in being a Hindu.
Kangana wrote:
“Salute to the respected Guru on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti!”
She also quoted a saying from Vivekanand:
“I am proud to belong to a religion that has taught the world the lessons of tolerance and universal acceptance. We do not believe in universal tolerance alone, but we accept all the religions of the world as truth.”
On the work front, Kangana is set to be seen in her first out and out action thriller, ‘Dhaakad’ which is set to be released on 8 Apr, 2022. Dhaakad will be followed by the release of her other big-budget venture – Tejas, which will be released on October 5, 2022.
