Arjun Kapoor hasn’t always had a cordial relationship with his step-sisters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, but the trio have slowly mended their ways, especially since the passing of Sri devi – which apparently brought them a little more close.
Arjun was filmmaker Bonnie Kapoor’s first-born from the latter’s first marriage with Mona Shourie. Bonnie later got married with Sri Devi, and the duo then became parents to Janhvi and Khushi.
With all the up’s and down’s that have come in their relationships, Arjun Kapoor maintains that he no longer feels the need to create a fake public perception of where they all stand today.
In a recent interview with Indian Express, here’s what the actor was quoted telling:
“I hate creating this fake perception that we are one happy family living under the roof and discussing everything. We have discussed many things, and we continue to do that. But it’s still a very intimate space for us to come out so openly and speak about.”
Arjun has often been spotted together with Janhvi and Khushi in social gatherings, but it seems in their personal lives – the family likes to give each other their own space.
“I’m always there to give my two cents on my experience,” Arjun does maintain about their relationship, in the end.
