A shocking event took place yesterday, which sent fans of television reality TV star Shehnaaz Gill in a frenzy.
Her father, Santok Singh Sukh was shot at, by two unidentified men while he was returning home from Amritsar.
Santok had recently joined the Bhartiya Janta Party.
The attack on him took place on Sunday at around 8:30 PM, when his car was parked near a dhaba as the driver needed a washroom break. The two men, who came in a bike, fired at Santok inside the car – who was then rescued by his gunmen.
The men weren’t captured and flew from the scene after the attack.
Santok Singh Sukh escaped unhurt in the firing. The motive of the attack is not clear yet.
Shehnaaz Gill, who is said to be in mourning, since the passing of her close friend and beau Siddharth Shukla earlier this year, has been keeping away from social media. So a statement from her is not made yet, on the attack.
