Urfi Javed has made quite a clear stance on whom she does not want to marry!
The reality TV star, who in the recent months has been known for her outlandish fashion choices, showing her creativity by sewing together all sorts of clothes – has firmly stated that she will not settle down with a Muslim man.
A bold and somewhat controversial choice of words. But why does Urfi feel that way?
Here’s what the 25 year old was recently quoted as saying by ETimes:
“I will never marry a Muslim guy. I don’t believe in Islam and I don’t follow any religion, so I don’t care who I fall in love with. We should marry whoever we want to.”

Explaining why she feels the way she does, Urfi stated:
“I am a Muslim girl. Most of the hate comments I receive are from Muslim people. They say that I am tarnishing the image of Islam. They hate me because Muslim men want their women to behave in a certain way. They want to control all the women in the community. I don’t believe in Islam because of this. The reason why they troll me is that I don’t behave the way they expect me to as per their religion.”
Urfi, it seems, is not happy with the comments she has been receiving on her social media pertaining to her bold clothing choices.
She further states on the subject:
“Who likes getting trolled? As a child, I was living under a lot of restrictions since my father was really conservative. So now, when I am independent, I have stopped getting worked up about anything in life. I don’t care what people say about me. People love trolling these days.”
