It has been more than a year since the passing of one of the most iconic actors to have come out of the Kapoor clan – Rishi Kapoor.
The veteran star passed away on 30th April 2020, at the age of 67, after a prolonged illness.
A few months ago, Rishi’s longtime confidante, partner and wife – Neetu Kapoor appeared for a special airing of TV show Indian Idol, which payed homage to the lasting legacy of the actor through songs.
The show also featured a special video montage, in which Rishi’s old-time pals and close buddies – namely, Rakesh Roshan, Prem Chopra and Jeetendra, all came together with their own video messages, remembering the ‘Do Duni Chaar’ actor with great fondness.
The heartwarming ode to his personal friendships and presence brought Neetu, who was a special guest for the episode, to tears – as she couldn’t help but break-down watching the heartfelt messages from everyone.
Wiping her tears away, Neetu stated that she prepared not to cry when she came for the show, but eventually couldn’t help it.
