Earlier this month when the filming of Kangana Ranaut’s highly ambitious project ‘Tejas’ completed, one of the project’s producers took the opportunity to talk about Kangana’s professionalism and commitment as an actor during the shoot.
Kangana, who in her past two projects, got into a controversy with either the director (Manikarnika) or the scriptwriter (Simran), who questioned her work-ethics, pushing her to be labelled as ‘difficult’ and ‘problematic’ as a colleague, got the opportunity to shun all those notions away – thanks to the kind words of Tejas producer, Salona Joshi.
Expressing her gratitude to the 4-time National Award winning star, Salona wrote:
“Thank you Kangana for being the most professional actor, breaking all our pre-conceived notions and being so true to the character that Tejas Gill rose from the pages and became more inspiring than all of us could have ever hoped for.”

Certainly speaks volumes of Kangana’s commitment to her work and craft, which we’ve often seen being reflected on-screen on her flawless portrayals of characters like Datto, Rani and Praful Patel, to name a few.
This also reinforces the fact that being an opinionated female, and an assertive colleague who has her own inputs into the direction of her projects – does not necessarily make her things that she’s been called in the past.
Tejas is a film about a brave pilot of India’s air-force, which is apparently carrying a patriot fervor with it, and is directed by Sarvesh Mewara.
The film is slated for a release some time in 2022.
