Manisha Koirala – one of the most popular actresses of the 90’s, who was recently seen in the box-office superhit ‘Sanju’, portraying the role of the late Nargis Dutt, is all praises for the actors of today.
The star of films like ‘Khamoshi’ and ‘Dil Se’ has showered praises on the acting abilities of a handful of today’s stars, namely – Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan and of coarse – Kangana Ranaut.
When quizzed about the artists of today that have impressed her the most with their acting abilities, Manisha praised Kartik Aaryan and Ranbir Kapoor among males, while she called Kangana Ranaut ‘brilliant’, among females.

Here’s what she was quoted as telling on the subject by an entertainment portal:
‘The younger generation is great, they are on par with the world standards. Kartik Aryan is a fine actor. Ranbir Kapoor is great. I see Alia Bhatt’s work and I feel she is way beyond what I would have done. Kangana is also brilliant. I loved her in Queen.’
Manisha also selected some of her favorite films from her own catalogue, which included her hits like – ‘Bombay’, ‘Dil Se’ and ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’, among others, while she also praised the fine actors and co-stars she had the opportunity to work with:
‘I had the opportunity to work with Nana Patekar, Arvind Swamy, Aamir Khan and other brilliant actors.’
