This past month, a viral video of a schoolboy who shoved some part-time work in between his studies and school won the hearts of internet.
The boy in question, worked as a newspaper delivery boy, and despite his age, had such clarity of thought about working and studying at the same time that he impressed the lot on internet.
While delivering newspaper isn’t something new for school-going kids in the west, as part-time jobs are seen as a way to give exposure to kids at a young age, here in our society – the work can still be looked down upon, in some parts.
Defying that notion, the boy, identified as Jai Prakash, is seen taking care of both chores – not worrying about what people have to think.
When asked by the man filming him, about working at such a young age, he says – “what’s wrong?” in Telegu.
The clarity of thought and composure, as he said there’s nothing wrong with working and studying at the same time, impressed netizens and his video, originally shared on Twitter, went viral across social media.
