Actress Sherlyn Chopra has hit back at Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty, after the lawyers of the couple had issued a warning to the actress – asking her to stop making defamatory remarks on social media.
After the lawyers of the Kundra couple warned Chopra of a defamation case, Chopra also took the legal route – by filing an FIR against them – claiming mental and sexual harassment.
Here’s what she was quoted telling a news agency:
‘I’ve filed a complaint to register FIR against Raj Kundra for sexual harassment, cheating & criminal intimidation.’
Here’s what she was heard saying in her emotional outburst to the media after filing the FIR:
It was actually before this, Sherlyn had called for a press conference in which she made strong allegations against Raj and Shilpa. Following which, their lawyers issued the following statement in response:
‘The due process of law must be followed for the alleged statement that Miss Chopra wants to make. Calling for a press conference to do this reflects a strong intention to commit an offence of defamation. Anything spoken by Miss Chopra in the public domain shall be held against her in the court of law. She shall be liable for civil and criminal proceedings before competent courts.’
Now Sherlyn has gone a step ahead and filed an official complaint.
