Owaisi On Aryan Khan Arrest: ‘I Won’t Speak For Those Whose Fathers Are Powerful’

While everyone seems to be giving their two cents in the ongoing Aryan Khan controversy, in which the star-kid has been placed under arrest – for interrogations pertaining to his alleged involvement in sale-purchase of illegal drugs, politician and controversial Muslim leader – Asaduddin Owaisi, has chosen to leave the subject be.

The AIMIM chief refused to make a comment, as media persons quizzed him about Aryan’s arrest after NCB raided a cruise party he was allegedly a part of.

But Owaisi was firm on his stances as he replied back stating that he doesn’t have to speak up for those whose fathers are powerful, referring to actor Shah Rukh Khan – who, as we know, is one of the biggest stars of the country.

Owaisi said – “You are talking about a superstar’s son. At least 27 percent of undertrial prisoners in UP jails are Muslims. Who will speak for them? I will fight for those who are voiceless and weak, not for those whose fathers are powerful.”

On the other hand – while officials do their job to grill Aryan, and others arrested during the raid, several Bollywood stars have already come out in support of the 23 year old, ranging from Hrithik Roshan to his ex-wife Sussanne Khan, from Salman Khan to Swara Bhasker, and from Preity Zinta to Ali Fazal, among countless others.

Owaisi seems in no mood to join the wagon, as of now, at least.
