Recently Miss. Shah spilled the beans on her relationship with Naseeruddin and also talked about how the duo had actually met back in the day.
Needless to say, the duo had first come face to face while working in theater, and that is where their romance had sprouted.
In a recent interview, here’s what she was quoted telling Indian Express:
“The first theater play we did together was titled Sambhog Se Sanyaas Tak, and that is the story of our life.”
She further added:
“We fell in love and have been inseparable ever since. Bas sanyaas lena baaki hai (laughs). It’s a relationship, which has been very useful. It is a relationship of equals, of friends, which has been a blessing for us.”
The duo remained together through the 70’s and were actually in a live-in relationship for several years before they finally got married in the year 1982. Later, the couple gave birth to two sons – Imaad and Vivaan, who aspire to be big in films too.
