Shilpa Shetty Defends Husband Raj Kundra, Says ‘Erotica’ Is Not Same as ‘Porn’

Shilpa Shetty has finally spoken in defense of her troubled husband, businessman Raj Kundra.

For the unversed, Kundra was arrested earlier this month for his alleged involvement in a business of creating ‘Porn’ films and releasing them on online apps.

While the matter is still being investigated by the authorities, Kundra’s wife, actress Shilpa Shetty has come out clearing her stance in the ongoing controversy.

Shetty has implied that the films being created are in the ‘Erotica’ category, and not necessarily ‘Pornographic’.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra in her statement to Mumbai police’s crime branch has reportedly stated that although she wasn’t aware of the exact content of the app in question, but she stressed on the fact that every ‘erotic’ content isn’t necessarily porn.

This came shortly after she assured her fan on social media that she will overcome these challenges, as she has done in the past:

Meanwhile, police has also raised suspicion that the money from sale of pornographic content was used for online betting.

Considering the online backlash, Shilpa has also asked people to not take it all out on her upcoming film, ‘Hungama 2′, which marks the actress’ return to the silver screen.

Here’s what she stated on her social media:

“I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga, “The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW.”
Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever!
So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film.”
