Kangana Ranaut’s passport renewal became quite a national news earlier this month, when the actress’ plea to have her passport renewed was disrupted by the officials due to an ongoing FIR against her, as alleged by the star herself.
Later, after a hearing session with the court, the actress was told to complete the formalities pertaining to her renewal application – and was asked to resubmit the same with the authorities.
The star and her lawyer had stated that she was due to travel abroad for the shooting of her film ‘Dhaakad’, and her absence was costing the production team as they had already reached the shooting destination and were waiting for her arrival to begin the shoot.
After weeks of all that hallaballoo, the actress finally got her passport renewed yesterday following which she took to her social media to share the news.
The actress also shared a picture with the director of ‘Dhaakad’, stating the following:
“Got my passport…. Thanks to everyone for their concern and best wishes … Chief I will be with you all soon 🥰@razylivingtheblues #Dhaakad”
Great that this chapter is now closed for Ms. Ranaut.
