Kriti Sanon Says She Remained Silent On SSR’s Death as She ‘Didn’t Want To Be Part of Negativity’

Kriti Sanon has revealed why she mostly remained silent on the matter of her former colleague and co-actor, Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death in 2020.

Sanon who starred with Sushant in Raabta, chose to not release any public statements pertaining to the many twists and turns Sushant’s death-related investigations had taken.

And while it remained one of the most talked-about news in the country throughout the year, Kriti – who was also a close friend to the actor, did not have much to say on it.

The actress has now revealed that she did that since she did not wish to be a part of any negativity.

In a recent interview with Times Of India, here’s what Kriti stated:

“At one point, there was so much noise around that I didn’t want to be a part of it. It reached a point where people stopped being sensitive, and there was too much negativity around. I didn’t want to be a part of that negativity”.

She further added:

“I knew what I felt about the situation and I wanted to keep that to myself. I didn’t feel the need to talk to anyone about anything that I was feeling. Also, what you want to say, you can always say it on social media. You can write and express yourself instead of talking out loud”.
