Hema Malini served as a ‘guest judge’ on a recent episode of Indian Idol’s season 12.
The veteran actress and Bollywood star, looked stunning as ever as she graced the stage and was surprised by a special video message from her daughter, Esha Deol.
The 72 year old couldn’t hold back her emotions, as Esha spoke highly of her mother’s contribution to Indian classical dance and her contribution to promoting Indian art and culture, in general.
“I am only proud and proud of you, and blessed to have a mother like you,” Esha said in her video message and Hema, who’s usually shied away from public display of emotions, was instantly led to tears.
‘She’s my lovely baby’, she said, while wiping away her tears.
