Rajkumar Rao has always maintained how he’s been inspired and influence by Shah Rukh Khan.
The talented actor, who’s known for his stand-out work in movies like ‘Trapped’ and ‘Newton’, has referred to King Khan as his idol and core influence, when it comes to acting.
In a recent interview with Times Of India, ahead of the release of his new film ‘The White Tiger’, Rao stated how he still has so much to learn from him as an actor and as a person, both.

He even stated that the reason for him being an actor is – SRK.
“I am an actor because of Shah Rukh sir. Seeing him on screen made me want to join the industry because I could connect with his journey. He taught me that if you have a dream and if you’re ready to work hard, the dream will come true. We all know how charming he is and how he makes everyone feel special. There is so much to learn from him be it on-screen or off it.”
Needless to say, SRK is a force in Hindi movies who continues to inspire actors of new generation.
