New Series on Jiah Khan’s Death Raises Questions, People Compare It With Sushant Singh’s Case

At the brink of an ongoing campaign to bring out the absolute truth about the untimely death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the case of actress Jiah Khan – who passed away in the year 2013 in shocking circumstances, has also been brought on to the table.

Jiah, who was only 25 at the time of her passing, was found hanging at her apartment, and it was ruled out as suicide by the investigating authorities.

Jiah’s mother Rabiya Khan has however constantly campaigned against what she deemed ‘improper investigations’, alleging an influence of Jiah’s then boyfriend, Sooraj Pancholi, in her untimely demise.

Now a new documentary series has been released by BBC, revolving around the entire episode of the actress’ death and the consequent investigations.

The doc even features interviews from both Sooraj and his father Aditya Pancholi.

This has stirred up quite a conversation around Khan’s case, once again, as people are seemingly taken aback by how similar her demise looks to that of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Twitter was once again lit with discussions about Jiah, while her BF Sooraj Pancholi was yet again at the receiving end of severe backlash.

“Watching #Deathinbollywood! My god!!So crazy how this case is mirroring sushant’s case!so glad this has been aired on British TV! Hopefully this will make more people realise the evil side of Bollywood! #boycottbollywood break the hierarchy!Thats the only way we will get justice!,” wrote one user online.

Another one said:

“I am truly shocked that #SoorajPancholi and #adityapancholi agreed to be interviewed for #DeathInBollywood because they do NOT come out of it well.”

Several users also stated how the documentary raised questions about everything that was possibly not investigated at the time of her death.
