Katrina Kaif’s Mother Builds School For Underprivileged Kids in Tamil Nadu, Actress Urges Fans To Also Donate

Katrina Kaif’s mother made a wonderful start towards giving back to the society, by building a school for under-privileged kids in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Built in the city of Madurai, Katrina’s mother Suzanne Turquotte has reportedly assisted in the creation from the ground, and the school now provides primary education to more than 200 local students.

Katrina, shared the news herself through her Instagram handle and here’s what she had to say on the wonderful start:

“So proud to present to you all the school built from the ground up by my mom and her charity. Since 2015, Mountain View School in Madurai has actively been working to provide quality English-medium education to lesser privileged children.

They currently teach two hundred students, have classrooms upto grade four and need to add 14 more. Let us do our bit so that more and more children can fulfill their dreams. Considering the tough times we are in, it is even more important to be there for one another.”

The actress also shared a link for Ketto, for those who are interested in donating to help extend the school.

Way to go Kat and Suzanne!
