Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is the most vocal mainstream female star of the industry.
The actress, has never really shied away from expressing herself, no matter how controversial her views are or how trouble-inviting the subject is.
She has also been vocal about the ongoing farmer’s protests, which has resulted into a number of controversies, legal notices and verbal spats, as you might already know.
Now as the farmer’s declared 8th December as ‘Bharat Band’, forcing a ‘closure’ across the country to solidify their voices, the actress yet again called out the same by sharing a poem.
Here’s what she stated in her short poem on Twitter:
“Aao Bharat ko band kr dete hain, yun to tufaano ki kami nahi is naav ko, magar laao kulhaari kuch chhed bhi kar dete hain, reh reh ke roz marti hai har ummeed yahaan,” Kangana tweeted.
आओ भारत को बंद कर देते हैं, यूँ तो तूफ़ानों कि कमी नहीं इस नाव को, मगर लाओ कुल्हाड़ी कुछ छेद भी कर देते हैं, रह रह के रोज़ मरती है हर उम्मीद यहाँ, देशभक्तों से कहो अपने लिए देश का एक टुकड़ा अब तुम भी माँग लो, आजाओ सड़क पे और तुम भी धरना दो, चलो आज यह क़िस्सा ही ख़त्म करते हैं 🙂 https://t.co/OXLfUWl1gb

While most of Bollywood celebs seem to have come forward in support of the protesting farmers and their demands against the government’s ‘Farmer Bill’, Kangana too has been firm on her stance, even if it’s the opposite from her peers in the industry.
