Bollywood sing-and-dance and routine invites as much adoration as ridicule.
While some people may not be able to digest all extravagance and over-the-top-everything that goes into filming such dance sequences, or at least dance-sequences from some 15-20 years ago – when masala potboilers were at their peak, but it still manages to find it’s international audience which takes joy in just grooving along to all the silliness.
After fans from Kenya, Philippines and a number of other places, recently went viral for enacting or dancing to Bollywood songs and scenes, it is now turn of this American dad – who apparently can’t help but shake a leg to B-town numbers with his kids in his TikTok and Instagram videos.
The app – which has now gained immense popularity in the United States, after first finding fame in India and other Asian countries, has become home to Ricky Pond from Washington, who frequently posts adorably choreographed small clippings of Bollywood dances.
