Sonu Sood has become quite a messiah for people in need and the new face of humanitarian work from showbiz.

The actor broke grounds personally arranging for several modes of transport for those countless labour forces who were left stranded on the streets, trying to make their way home, as the nationwide lockdown put a halt to their means of livelihood.

When the whole nation was in despair seeing how the hardworking labours of India were left helpless and had no other option but to venture hundreds of kilometres back to their hometowns on foot, as government’s modes of transport remained shut due to the lockdown, Sood came to the rescue for many and arranged for buses, trains and even flights.
