Kangana Ranaut is one of the busiest actresses in Hindi film industry, as the actress confessed herself during her recent interview with Navika Kumar on Times Now.
The three-time National Awards winner has a string of big-budget projects in the pipeline, all of which have the promise to redefine the image of mainstream Indian female superstars, as we know it.
The actress, who’s previously earned critical acclaim for her refined acting craft in films like ‘Queen’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, and ‘Simran’ – to name a few, is presently on the verge of completing the shoot of ‘Thalaivi’.
The film is based on the life of late Tamlinadu chief minister – Jayalalitha, with Ranaut reprising the role of the iconic political leader.
Next she also has an action-packed thriller in queue, entitled ‘Dhaakad’, which yet again puts her front and center, as the ‘new-age’ action-heroine of Bollywood – without having to rely on her male counterpart’s shoulders.
Kangana also has a patriotic film ‘Tejas’, lined-up in the pre-production stage, which will feature the star donning the role of an Indian Air Force pilot.
