We often tend to forget that underneath the uniforms of our forces, are people who feel, hurt and empathize just as much as we do. And even though their job requires them to remain tough and stringent through it all, does not stop them from being human.
A woman constable from Hyderabad, showed such humanly gesture recently, when she helped feed a homeless woman and her baby.
B Rajya is today’s viral story, as pictures of her feeding a homeless woman from her own hands has touched the hearts of thousands across social media.
The constable, who’s from Moghalpura police station in Hyderabad, helped the 19 year old woman named Sana Banu and her 15 day old baby by providing them food and comfort, after the police were reported of an ‘abandoned child’ and mother.
One unknown lady identified in the limits of moghalpura police station along with 3months baby and mother has no sufficient food to take care of baby girl and her self police are enquiring her details …this is called friendly police…..@TelanganaDGP @CPHydCity @DCPSZHyd pic.twitter.com/YJZm7Xb3AV

Here’s what B Rajya was quoted saying on the same:
“It looked like they had not eaten anything for days, Banu could not even walk or talk properly. Even when we offered her food, she could not eat and was not even in a state to feed her baby.”
Moghalpura PS found an unidentified lady with 3 months baby without food. Our lady constable officer could not resist herself and brought them to PS and fed them by her own hands. Looking at this eyes became wet of all those present. Felt so proud of the colour of khakhi. pic.twitter.com/1lMAn4EEMa

She also stated that she could not bear the sight of the woman’s poor condition, since she herself is a mother.
“I could not bear it. I am also a mother, of a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son,” Rajya stated. “It felt like my children were in pain and I had to feed them. I fed milk powder to the baby girl and proper food to her mother, who was very reluctant to eat.”
Her effort was recognized by her seniors and lauded by everyone.
DGP of Telangana police also shared her story and applauded her for the same.
Great gesture, Portraying that 'Only a woman can understand another woman's pain'.
Great to see you all my dear officers, for being so empathetic towards the needy/members of the society.
Thank you Mr. Faisal for bringing this here. https://t.co/mjVT1ewbuH— DGP TELANGANA POLICE (@TelanganaDGP) September 12, 2020
