Ranveer Singh has requested the authorities to allow him to be present, as his wife and actress Deepika Padukone is presented before the NCB for probing in an alleged drug-racket fiasco.
The actress – is among a number of other B-town celebs, who have all been summoned by the Narcotics Bureau, after their initial investigation pointed to their involvement in drug-usage in the Hindi film industry.
This has all come to light during the ongoing investigations of Rhea Chakraborty, who was being questioned in relation to the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, whom she was dating at the time of his death.
Several media outlets (including one from Republic TV) have reported that, Ranveer has now urged the anti-drug agency to be present during Deepika’s interrogation on Saturday.
On contrary to this, an official from the central agency has denied receiving any such a request from the actor.

Deepika and Ranveer arrived from Goa on Thursday and the actress is now slated to appear before the NCB in Mumbai on Saturday.
