Karni Sena Vows To Provide Protection To Kangana Ranaut To Escort Her From Mumbai Airport To Her Home

After a bunch of Shiv Sena party supporters and spokespersons lashed out at Kangana Ranaut, over her remark in reference to Mumbai – Karni Sena has come out in support of the actress.

The ‘Queen’ star, who had recently been granted Y-Plus security by the home ministry of India, after a number of threats were made against her, following her remark comparing Mumbai to POK and stating she feels concerned for her safety in the city – has now found another form of protection through the Karni Sena.

This is the same organisation which had previously issued a number of threats against Deepika Padukone, during the release of her controversial historical piece – Padmaavat, helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The Hindu fringe outfit Karni Sena, who shot to infamy during the release of Deepika Padukone's Padmaavat, and threatened to cut the actor's nose in 2017, now wants to protect Kangana Ranaut. After getting Y-Plus security from the Centre, Kangana Ranaut has found some more fan following in Karni Sena who have volunteered to escort her home from Mumbai airport to her home. Jeevan Solanki of Karni Sena has said, “Karni Sena will be present at Mumbai airport on September 9 to support Kangana Ranaut. Karni Sena members will be protecting and escorting Kangana Ranaut from the airport to her home.” “There will be a team of Karni Sena members at the airport who will take Kangana to her home with their own security. Karni Sena is taking responsibility for Kangana Ranaut’s security in Mumbai,” Solanki, a member of the outfit, told India Today. Same Karni Sena who threatened Deepika Padukone This is the same Karni Sena, who at the time of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat release in November 2017, said they would not hesitate to chop Deepika's nose like Shurpanakha. Deepika called the controversy surrounding Padmavati "absolutely appalling " and said that as a nation, "we have regressed." Lokendra Singh Kalvi, convenor of the Karni Sena, had slammed "naachnewali" Deepika Padukone, who played the titular role of Padmavati. Meanwhile, the Kangana Ranaut controversy refuses to die down. Sanjay Raut has reportedly told the media if Kangana will apologise to Maharashtra for calling Mumbai a ‘mini Pakistan’, then he will think about forgiving her. He also questioned if she has the guts to call the state of Ahmedabad a ‘mini Pakistan’. . #karnisena #deepikapadukone #sanjayraut #padmavati

Let us hope this doesn’t get any messier than it already is.
