After several media outlets reported of Ranveer Singh’s request of appearing alongside wife, Deepika Padukone’s questioning by the Narcotics Bureau, the interrogation continued without his presence on Saturday. And apparently his absence, didn’t quite help the actress’ said ‘anxiety issues.’
The ‘Padmaavat’ actress was grilled for several hours in Mumbai by NCB, pertaining to her alleged involvement with drugs and a possible drug racket in Bollywood.
It is now being reported that Padukone – who has previously spoken about having dealt with severe depression and anxiety issues, broke down several times during the questioning process, which didn’t quite go down well with the authorities.
It is reported that the actress, was asked “not to play an emotional card” during her grilling, as she broke down repeatedly three times during the interrogations.
She was grilled by the authorities in relation to her ‘drug chats’ with her manager, Karishma Prakash, which according to reports – she has denied consuming, at all.
The actress’s phone has been seized by the NCB for now and it is likely, there are more major names from showbiz, to be outed in the coming days.
