The 47 year old helped thousands of labour workers, attempting to flee cities on their feet, by providing them multiple modes of transportation, becoming a ‘real-life-hero’ in the process.
Sood’s dedication in the deed continued from several weeks to months, as he even launched a helpline number, for those who were suffering due to the quarantine-driven situations, doing everything – from arranging buses, booking train-tickets to providing meals and water bottles on ground-level.
His recent appearance on Kapil Sharma’s show, brought him face-to-face with those who were the directly helped and affected by his commendable efforts.
As footage of multiple folks, expressing their gratitude and thanking him for all his work, was shown – Sonu Sood couldn’t help but shed a tear or two.
