While the Indian film music scene may have changed over the course of time, with pointless cringe-pop and ridiculously-rhymed rap songs taking things over. There are still some exceptionally talented vocalists – who have continued to keep things alive, for old time’s sake.
The likes of Arijit Singh and Papon – among present generation’s hottest singers continue to sing, soulful and inspiring tunes with their soul-stirring, melodious and technically skilled voices.
A number of singers from the previous generation are also actively recording new music, like Sonu Nigam, KK and Shankar Mahadevan – who are all, incredibly versatile, trained and skilled and yet manage to sing straight from the heart.
