Jharkand’s 53 year old education minister Jagarnath Mahto, who was being called out for his incomplete education – while serving as the education minister of the state has vowed to finally complete the same.
Mahto, who was only a 10th pass out, has finally taken admission in the 11th standard, to finish what he had left in-between, several years ago.
At 53, Jagarnath believes that there’s no age for learning and has hence decided to silence his critics, once and for all.
Mahto has enrolled in Class 11 at a government-affiliated inter-college under his Assembly constituency of Dumri – 25 years after dropping out.

“Constant criticism inspired me to re-start my pending education,” he said.
“Ever since I was made education minsiter of Jharkhand, a section of people have been aggresive on my educational qualification. Then, I decided to being my studies again.”
He further added:
“When I was being sworn in as education minister, some people asked what a 10th pass minister would do. This is my reply to those people….There is no age for education and learning. I will inspire people to do everything.”

One has to applaud the honesty, though. Better late than never.
Let us just hope the education is completed with utmost sincerity and honesty.
