KK has ben in the music business since the late 90’s.

The high-octane vocalist and performer has lent his glorious set of pipes to both indie-pop and Hindi-film-music over the years, and has given us a number of memorable tunes in the process.

A powerful song from an iconic soundtrack. Life.. in a Metro was filled with a number of unforgettable, timeless tunes – and Alvida was certainly at the Top 3 of them. This stunningly composed and produced track still sounds just as fresh as when it had actually come out.

 

7) Aashayein

A beautiful song, from a beautiful, under-rated movie. Featured on Nagesh Kukkunoor’s Iqbaal, this inspiring ballad about hopes and aspirations still makes for a great easy listening experience.

 

6) Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai



Another love-song from a Bhatt-camp movie, Woh Lamhe. Released in the year 2006, this romantic track is stil just as much soothing to the soul and can make you wanna groove to it.

 

5) Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai

Released in the year 2006, and featured in the Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut starrer Gangster – another soundtrack, which was filled with some super-hit bops, this Pritam-composed tune is fresh, timeless and musically extravagant.

 

4) Awaarapan Banjarapan

A heart-rendering delivery by KK, featured on the iconic and sublime soundtrack for the 2003-released erotic thriller, Jism. This whole album was filled with a stellar compositions and songs, and Awaarapan was easily one of the main highlights of the same.

 

3) Yaaron



A solo hit from KK, before his advent to the world of Hindi-movie soundtracks. A stunning and heartwarming tune created as a timeless ode to friendship, then still continues to get played among friends.

 

2) Tadap Tadap

A stellar vocal delivery by KK, from one of his more famous tracks back in the late 90’s. Featured on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, this tune remains an iconic testament to his vocal prowess and also a top-notch song curated on heartbreak.

 

1) Pal

KK’s most timeless and unforgettable classic came from him as a soloist. His Pop album of the same name released in the year 1999, featured this iconic slow and sweeping ballad, that really does take you back in time and offers oodles of nostalgia, making you remember and think of a past-love, that perhaps never even existed.
