Indian film megastar Amitabh Bachchan has announced that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.

The actor took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement, revealing that his family members and those who were in contact with him for the past 10 days are also undergoing tests – to ensure the virus hasn’t been transmitted to them.

A few minutes after Big B’s announcement, his actor son Abhishek Bachchan also updated on his test report – revealing that he’s been tested positive for the virus as well.

The duo is presently complying with the authorities, while Jr. Bachchan has also requested his fans to stay calm and not panic, after hearing the news.

Immediately after Big B’s revelation, thoughts and prayers have poured in from all quarters of the film industry and from his massive fan following on social media, who’re all keeping their fingers crossed for a safe recovery.

Mr. Bachchan has now been shifted to the Nanavati hospital for further treatment.

Despite multiple measures by the government, it seems the numbers are continuously rising and the claws of Coronavirus are still getting wider by the day.
