Although Indian cinema may be crossing borders now, while excelling in the art of film-making and creating projects on par with world-cinema, the likes of Yash Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan had already familiarised foreign audiences with a ‘typical’ flavor of Bollywood – a long time ago.
The song-dance routine in the backdrop of stunning Swiss localities, the YRF romances created a niche for themselves back in the 90’s and some of those tunes still linger in the minds of those who fondly remember that era.
SRK was recently seen going all nostalgic after sharing a video of a street-performer, chiming-in to the tunes of the 1995-released classic, ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.’
Fondly remembering the late Yash Chopra in the Twitter post, the actor shared the sweet clipping, featuring a man in Paris playing flute and singing lyrics of the film’s hit track – ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jana Sanam’, which was filmed on SRK and Kajol.

Suddenly just…missed Yashji. Maybe it’s the singers cap? pic.twitter.com/zrep9xUgaj

The times have certainly changed when it comes to Indian movies, but it is good to reminisce over the good-old, simplistic days.
Time to binge-watch some DDLJ tracks.
