Sikh Group Performs Shabad Kirtan On The Great Wall Of China. Watch Video!

As the celebrations for Gurpurab commence, ahead of the actual day on Tuesday, the Sikh community worldover is rejoicing in the spirit of Guru Nanak Sahib, and China couldn’t be left behind on it.

A group of Sikh men recently caught the eyes of the world by performing Shabad Kirtan sitting on the floor of the Great Wall of China.

The group was seen with a tabla and a harmonium, singing enchanting religious tunes on top of the world wonder.

The heartwarming video was shared on Twitter by user ‘harnidh’ who wrote the following in the caption:



‘I was in Beijing for this Gurpurab, and had the incredible luck of experiencing this! Shabad kirtan on the Great Wall of China! That’s ONE way of getting over the homesickness haha. (Langar happened at the embassy later 😅.)’
