Viral: Dog Peacefully Listens To Kirtan In Gurudwara On Guru Nanak Dev’s 550th Birthday

As the world celebrated the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev earlier this past week, there were also several acts of kindness and communal fellowship from the Sikh community that put smiles on our faces.

Amidst it all, a viral video of a stray dog not only entering a Gurudwara but also peacefully sitting there to listen to the kirtan has been going viral.

The video shared by Facebook user Gurpreet Chawla, shows the stray being allowed to sit among his human friends and be part of the occasion. The video has now gone viral with over 250,000 views and counting.

Not only does it show the tolerance of the community to not shoo away the dog, but it is also beautiful to watch the cute animal just sit there and be in trance of the beautiful music.

This Dog was sitting inside a Gurudwara for 3 hours and was listening to Kirtan on auspicious day Celebration of #550 Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
He was Given a Blanket also Langar to eat.
