Vaani Kapoor Sparks Controversy By Wearing Small Blouse With ‘Ram’ Written All Over It

Actress Vaani Kapoor has just landed herself in a legal trouble.

The ‘Befikre’ actress wore a deep-neck blouse with Hindu God’s name – ‘Ram’ written all over it, pairing it with bottoms – which many people online found ‘vulgar.’

An FIR has now been filed against the actress for hurting religious sentiments.

Rama Sawant – a Mumbai resident filed the complaint at N M Joshi Marg police station on Tuesday.

Here’s what part of his complaint read:

“The undersigned is an ardent devotee of ‘Lord Shri Ram’. The undersigned has come across a photograph of Bollywood actress by name Ms Vaani Kapoor on her Instagram, where under, she is found in vulgar cloth in semi-nude position and over her body and more particularly from her shoulder to breast, she is found to be wearing blouse/brassiere made out a cloth-like Ramnami, in as much as the names of Lord Shri Ram has been described containing ‘Shri Ram’ , which denotes to Lord Shri Ram.”



The image was shared by Vaani herself, but she took it down after the controversy was sparked. But it has already gone viral by now.

 

The FIR is filed under u/s. 215A of IPC and the complainant aims to get her booked and punished according to the law.
