Baahubali Becomes First Indian Movie to be Shown at Royal Albert Hall, London

India’s record-shattering box-office juggernaut, Baahubali: The Beginning has added another feather to its coveted cap.

The magnum opus has become the first non-English movie to be screened at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London.

The SS Rajmouli mega-hit served as the first installment of his two-part, high-octane epic drama, the screening of which garnered a standing ovation from the audience at the RAH.

The official Twitter handle of the movie also shared the news with the following caption:

“Standing ovation at the Royal Albert Hall. Huge applause to whoever came to relive the epic. Thank you London. We will cherish this event forever. Saahore MM Keeravani & the entire team of Baahubali.”

While half of Twitter remains divided over weather Baahubali was really the right choice to represent Indian cinema internationally, stating that it barely offers anything artistic beyond the use of special effects, fans of the iconic movie franchise are certainly happy that it is still making a mark in the world of movies.
