In a sudden shock to the world of politics, prominent BJP leader and India’s former foreign affair minister, Sushma Swaraj passed away later at night yesterday.
The renowned and celebrated leader of the current government of India was 67 and suffering from failing health for a while.
Ms. Swaraj was taken to Delhi’s AIIMS hospital straight into the emergency ward and passed away at around 10:20 pm.

Outpouring messages of love and respect came in soon after her demise, as people remembered one of the most approachable leaders of the party – who gained massive respect from the general public for her dedication to her post during her last tenure.
In her last Tweet, Ms. Swaraj posted a ‘thank you’ note to the prime minister and the present government, in reference to the recently passed bill to remove article 370 from Kashmir.
“Thank you Prime Minister. Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime.”
