An embarrassing episode of an Indian family stealing almost every tiny bit of items from their hotel room in Bali has been going viral this whole week.
The family in question had apparently gone to the country for a holiday, but prior to their check-out from the hotel they were staying in, they decided to pack a bunch of items from the hotel in their suitcases – with an apparent plan to flee with it all.
The group was later caught red-handed by the hotel’s staff and security personnel who filmed the entire episode as they all stood red-faced, joining hands for forgiveness.
The clip – which has now been going viral on social media, showcases the hotel staff opening the suitcases of the family one by one – discovering petty items like hangers and towels, taken from the room the group was staying in.
The awkward encounter sees the family members apologizing to the visibly disappointed staff and the cops standing by, as they also insist that they’re willing to pay for it all, i.e., after being caught looting it all.
It isn’t certain yet, whether criminal charges were filed against the culprits, but it clearly marks a national-level embarrassment for them.
