Kerala IPS Officer Cracks Child Rape Case, Catches Accused Hiding In Saudi Arabia

DCP Merin Joseph is being praised across the country for her heroism and dedication which helped her nab a child-rape accused, who was taking refuge in Saudi Arabia.

The IPS officer from Kerala and her team caught the alleged culprit, who was wanted for the rape of a teenage girl, from an incident dating back in 2017.

Sunil Kumar Bhadran was hiding in the middle east, where he was also working, having fled India after being accused of the crime.

The girl in question, daughter of a family friend to Sunil, had committed suicide shortly after the incident at a rehabilitation center.

After a two year search with little to no progress, the case was handed over to Merin just last month, following which she took help from CBI in tracking Sunil down.

The alleged culprit was brought back to India earlier this month, earning praises for Merin for the fast-forwarded extradition and her prompt actions.

Let us hope justice continues to prevail in this manner and the likes of Merin continue to rise from the ashes to put it to action.

Way to go!
