Assam Floods: Video Of Drowning Deer in Kaziranga, Sums Up The Severity Of The Tragedy

As Assam continues to struggle with one of the worst flooding conditions it has been struck with in many years, several pictures and footage from the state – showing the drastic effect the travesty has left on everyone, is breaking our hearts.

Over 26 lakh people have been affected by the tragedy, with at least 166 reported deaths thus far.

Apart from people, the wildlife of the beautiful state has been affected by the natural calamity too.

One of Assam’s biggest wildlife preserves – Kaziranga National Park is almost 90% drowned and a heartbreaking viral video of a group of deer, trying to escape the situation while drowning in the water, has caught everyone’s attention.



Giving a glimpse of the situation being faced by the state’s wildlife, particularly those animals in the Kaziranga national park, the video is truly heart-wrenching to watch.
