In a weird display of such support, a BJP activist in West Bengal’s Howrah district shared a morphed picture of the state’s chief minister Mamta Banerjee – which eventually landed her into some trouble.

An outrage at the local level eventually led to her arrest, after a complaint was lodged at the Dasnagar police station.
“Priyanka Sharma has been arrested for sharing morphed picture of the CM,” a police official was quoted telling.
